HOME Defense Course

DAY TRAINING

Unlock peace of mind and gain essential skills with Release Point's Home Defense Course - Level 1. This comprehensive course equips students with the knowledge and confidence to protect their home in a defensive situation. Participants will learn key techniques such as shooting fundamentals, effective movement within the home, clearing malfunctions, and critical tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Students will also learn how to create a personalized home defense plan, ensure family safety, and select the right ammunition for their pistol. By the end of this course, students will have the practical skills and knowledge necessary to handle potential threats with confidence and safety. (Must complete this course prior to taking HDC- Day-Level 2).

This comprehensive night training equips students with the knowledge and confidence to protect their home in low-light or nighttime defensive situations. Participants will master essential techniques such as shooting fundamentals, effective movement within the home, clearing malfunctions, and critical tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) tailored for night defense. In addition, students will develop a personalized home defense plan, ensuring family safety, and selecting the right ammunition for their pistol in nighttime scenarios. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to handle potential nighttime threats with confidence and precision. (Must complete this course prior to taking HDC-Night-Level 2).

20 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Marine Corps, Chris Allison brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to Release Point Defense Training. His extensive military career spans across key roles, including Infantry, Security Forces, ANGLICO, Force Recon, and Light Armored Reconnaissance. He also served as the Security Team Leader for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and operated in the elite Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Throughout his career, Chris completed 10 overseas deployments, honing his skills in high-pressure environments and earning a reputation for excellence.

20-year U.S. Marine veteran, Dan LaLota brings a wealth of experience and tactical knowledge to his role as President of Target Down Group. His distinguished military career includes service in elite units such as Force Recon and MARSOC (Marine Special Operations Command). Dan also currently serves as a expert Sniper and Weapons Instructor expert for many highly recognized personnel around the U.S. Dan continues to push the boundaries of tactical training, offering top-tier instruction for those seeking to excel in precision and defense training.

Now an executive at B6 Security & Investigations, Bill applies his military expertise to the private security sector, providing strategic oversight and high-level security solutions for clients. Dwight Ledesma brings 15 years of experience as a trainer / competitive shooter to his role as a Pistol and Carbine Instructor. In addition to his shooting skills, Dwight is a certified CPR, AED, First Aid, and OSHA Instructor, further demonstrating his commitment to safety and preparedness in all training environments.
